Administrative Fines to be Applied under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) for 2026

Article 18 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), titled “Misdemeanors”, regulates the administrative fines to be imposed on those who fail to fulfill the obligations arising from the Law.

The administrative fines applicable to those who fail to comply with their obligations under the KVKK have been increased in line with the revaluation rate and were announced on the website of the Personal Data Protection Authority on 31 December 2025.

Accordingly, the administrative fines to be applied in 2026 are as follows:
