Nazlı DERVİŞOĞLU DOĞAN graduated from Başkent University in 2003 with honors degree. She has two different master degrees, one on Capital Markets Law studied at University of Ankara, Turkey and the other on International Business Law studied at University of Exeter, United Kingdom.
In her first years of career, she worked in the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources as legal consultant. In the Ministry, she practiced on energy and mining issues and pursued international arbitration cases filed by or against the Ministry/Turkish Government before ICC and ICSID arising from energy investment disputes. Thereafter, she worked as a corporate attorney both in Izmir and Istanbul offices of an international law firm and gained experience in corporate issues, mainly on merger and acquisitions, foreign investments and drafting of commercial contracts. Afterwards, she joined another international law office where she has worked as corporate senior associate. At the same time, she founded and headed the Mining and Natural Resources Department of the said firm focusing on mining and renewable energy sector.
Finally, she established DKND LAW FIRM jointly with Kürşat DOĞAN where she gives legal consultancy services on company law, (international) trade law, capital markets law, commercial contracts, labor law, foreign investments and family law.
Besides, she is mandated as “mediator” by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Justice and in her capacity as mediator, she resolves disputes including but not limited to disputes arising from family law, labor law, commercial law, insurance law, contracts and all kind of disputes arising from civil law relations between parties, including conflicts which have foreign nature.
Kürşat DOĞAN graduated from Başkent University in 2004.
He worked as a corporate attorney in an international law firm, where he gained experience in corporate issues including merger and acquisitions, capital markets law, health law and medical law, labor law, drafting of commercial contracts and advising on foreign investments. Thereafter, he established IKD Law Firm where he practiced on mining law, corporate consultancy, labor law and litigation.
Afterwards, he worked at another international law firm as senior associate and therein he incorporated the Mining and Natural Resources Department, focusing on corporate consultancy regarding mining and energy projects.
Finally, he established DKND LAW FIRM where he provides legal consultancy services mainly on mining law, energy law, capital markets law, competition law and health and medical law. Besides, he gives lectures to company personnel on various legal subjects including corporate law, international contracts and labor law.
